Cheeses

Lynne, Julie, and I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese this week. It brought back so many memories for me, when I was growing up in UT we had a lot of our cousin b-day parties there. Ben had a great time and they basically had the whole place to themselves. The pizza was terrible though. They were so into the rides and games, next time I'll just get him tokens and skip the pizza. His favorite was this Bob the Builder ride. It was funny because he kept trying to tell Bob to get off and then tried to give him a push. He had just watched Stuart Little 2 at my parents the night before, so he recognized Stuart. He loves doing everything with his cousins, I'm so glad they can get together so often!

Sadie's 2 Months Old

Our little Sadie had her 2 month well check at the dr today. When he came into the room he asked me if this was her 2 week check. He couldn't believe how fast the time had gone. I told him I was right there with him. Time is going by so much faster with Sadie, I wish it would slow down. She has been such a sweet little angel. She got an A+ check up and was kicking and smiling until the nurse brought in her immunizations. Talk about flipping a switch. I absolutely hate that part and I had a nervous stomach all morning. She did very well and didn't get a fever like her brother always did. She weighed 11 lbs 11 oz and measured at 24 and 1/4 in. She is off the charts for height. I guess we could have a future 6 ft super model on our hands. I am so grateful she is doing so well!!

CARS mania

Ben LOVES Cars the movie!! He wants to watch it all the time. This is the first movie he has really been interested in, and basically has the whole thing memorized. He has started his own collection which he knows all of the characters names. His favorite, no not Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks. He also has Cars sheets on his bed. It was so funny, when I put his pillow case on the first time he noticed one side had McQueen and the other side had a picture of Mater. It took him the longest time to fall asleep that night because he couldn't decide who to sleep on. He would lay down for 5 min, get up turn the pillow over and then do it again, and again. I think Mater finally won out.

SMILE!!

We have been seeing a ton of these lately!!!

Sadie's Blessing Day

Danny was able to bless Sadie on November 1st. It was such a special day and she looked absolutely beautiful! Danny gave her such a sweet blessing, and we were so happy to have both Grandpas, her Uncle Tim and our dear friend Jason in the circle. I have to give Dan a hard time and record this story....Dan is the first counselor in the bishopric in our ward. It just happen to be his month to conduct. After the opening song, prayer, and announcements Danny was ready to take Sadie up to bless her. Instead of Dan saying we will now have a baby blessing, he completely forgot and went ahead with the beginning of the sacrament. We all just looked at each other in shock that he had forgotten. Then the bishop leaned over and reminded him about the blessing. I will always remember the look on his face, then we all laughed. We did the blessing right after the sacrament, and it was actually really nice to have the reverence from the sacrament still present. We were able to have so many family members and dear friends present. Our family is so blessed to have so many that love and support us!!

Happy Halloween

Love, Caillou and Miss Bee
Trick or Treating was so much fun this year!! We took Ben out with his cousins and they had a blast. Ben and Kamron ran house to house together with Elli slowly, but surely tagging along behind. Ben was really shy last year and wasn't really interested but this time around he was so excited and kept saying mommy, mommy, mommy, treats!! He would go up to the door and get his candy and then if a big group of kids came behind him he would get back in line and hit the same house again. Everyone was so sweet about letting him double dip a couple times. I think some people thought he was just in a t shirt and shorts, but I did have Caillou printed on the back of his shirt. There were several moms that didn't miss a beat and said how much they loved Caillou when there kids used to watch. I had no idea he had been around for so long. We also went to our ward's Trunk or Treat this year. They had a cupcake walk, a fish pond and a costume parade that the kids marched in. I can't wait until next year when Sadie can be awake to have as much fun as her brother had.

Good News for Ben

Chipotle now has kid's meals. Ben loves eating there and it's one of my favorites. He can down a carnitas taco with no problem. The only gross part is he drinks chocolate milk with it!
